Have you tried Cost Plus World Market? There are a bunch of them in your area and they may have it.

Try Meijer's they have plenty of stores in the Chicago 'burbs.

The world foods aisle in the Lafayette, IN store has a British section, and carries Ribena on the lower self there.

Thank you! I picked up a few bottles at Meijer last night!

My Local Kroger is getting rid of their british section and selling off all kinds of goodies (including Ribena) for prices closer to UK prices than the usual gasp-of-horror-eyeball-rolling prices. Ribena was $3.98 (plus tax) for 600ml I cleaned them out of heinz salad cream and HP Sauce late last night much to the amusement of the cashier. I'm going back later for Ambrosia custard

Re: Ribena

What always made me laugh at the Publix I used to go into in Florida was that the British food was in the "ethnic foods" section. In fact they had Canadian stuff there too, like Coffee Crisps.

If you can hack the drive to Windsor, a lot of British stuff is stocked in Canadian supermarkets routinely, so you don't have to pay inflated prices (although it would be two tanks of gas there and back from Chicago). I'm sure there must be a Loblaws/Canadian Superstore in Windsor.

Hopefully Fresh & Easy (aka Tesco's) will expand nationwide eventually, they have back bacon and British-style sausages among other things (decent potato chips similar to UK ones).

If you aren't so fussy and want Robinson's Barley Water, The Christmas Tree shop still had bottles of the orange and the lemon flavours for $1 each.

Our local Jewel (West Loop) has a small English foods section, including Ribena. I don't think they all have that section, but can't be just the one, either!
