I think the Colorado River supplies much of the water and that catchment area is certainly well down. There are issues with increasing salinity and the expensive remidies neccessary.
There is a Boat Chandlers in our town too, I think we are 1500 miles from the sea and its been months since it last rained.
I hope the brew pub is a priority supply

Yes. Anyone from a blue state, NY, Calif., wherever... please stay away. You will hate it here. Too hot, too conservative. Your children will be forced to go to church. You will have to carry a gun. Arizona is definitely not the place for a blue stater. You will not be happy here.

Not everyone in New York State is a liberal democrat. I, for one, am NOT. I vote for the person I think best qualified; not by partyline.
We don't have minor children and already have several long guns so does that mean we will find happiness in AZ?
Right now we are planning our summer trip to NC to scope out some property we have located and some homes.

The campaign to tell them they wouldn't be happy here failed, and as a result we doubled in population in 10 years (500k to 1m).

Yes, I think most states have a problem with excess Californians.

Have you checked under the bed recently?
