I recently returned from America where I was under the Q-visa classification., this expired and I was forced to move home again to England. My employers wish me to return under another Q-visa, but the residency requirement does not permit me to do this for around 12 months. Lawyers in America said that this requirement may be avoided if I can obtain a letter from the English Government stating that they do not mind me leaving the country for another 18 months, immediately.
Does anyone know anthing about this? Is this true and whom could I contact to obtain such a letter as I have not seen it mentioned anywhere else? If this is not true, is there any way in which the 12 month Q-visa residency requirement may be overlooked by the INS???
Any help greatly appreciated.
