Reports of smoke on Tube line - police

LONDON (Reuters) - Fire engines were being sent to two London Underground stations following reports of smoke coming from the Bakerloo line, a spokesman for London Transport police said on Wednesday.

He said engines were being sent to Oxford Circus and Piccadilly Circus, but could not give any further details.

London Underground said there was a fire alert at Piccadilly Circus which was being checked.

Reuters had it 24 mins ago. So I would give it a minute to filter through. Maybe nothing, in which case you'll probably not see much more. Or the other scenario is that it will be plastered all over the news for the next few weeks. Let's hope it's the former.
