Rental car w/o intl driving permit?
Does anyone know offhand of a major US rental car company that does not require an intl driving permit for foreign visitors? Last minute trip coming up and our local post office doesn't issue them. Thanks!

I don't think that you would need an IDP to rent a car in the US
You would only require an IDP if your license is not in English. The IDP serves to translate a foreign language license.

You don't need one in the US because your licence is already in English.
