Renewing US passport in London
Does anyone have any experience of how long it takes these days to get a new US passport in London? According to the US embassy website it should take about four weeks.

New as in a first, or a renewal?
Friend got a renewal in a couple of weeks, but that was a month or two back...now, who knows, what with the Olympics.
