Default Renewal of UK passport from USA

Hey you guys,

Great forum. lots of great topics and helpful advice on here. I love the way you guys are looking out for eachother.

Well, I was wondering if you could help me?
We are in out 4th year of a 5 year E2 Visa

My wife notice the other day that our kids passports are due to expire at the end of Sept 08. Talk about shock. Then we remembered they were only given 5 year passports because they were under 16 yrs old.
Well, my son is now 11 yrs old and my daughter is 19. My daughter will need an adults passport now, but how do we go about this/
Can we apply for UK passports from the US without having to travel?
Who do we contact? were do we get the paperwork etc...?

Hope you can help

Jim
