Relocating whilst pregnant

Re: Relocating whilst pregnant
Yes my second was born at home, and my third was only born in hospital because I was there for a routine appointment and I didn't have time to get home again when they declared me to be in labour.
The only caveats I'd give about homebirth are that you should check carefully the level of training your midwife has (in some US states lay midwives are still legal), and that a recent major study showed that for first births the risk for the baby as a result of giving birth at home is slightly higher than the risk associated with giving birth in hospital, whereas for subsequent births the risks are the same if not lower at home.
