Default Registering for the Selective Service

Here are two links. One from the INS and one from the actual selective service website. As you can see the SSS requires all males between the ages 18 and up to the age of 26 to register regardless of status

http://www.ins.usdoj.gov/graphics/pu...s/reminder.htm

http://www.sss.gov/inslink.htm

Thank you for connecting to the Selective Service System from the INS Web site. Here, men can register on-line. The system is not operational when system maintenance is scheduled from 2 a.m. to 4 a.m. U.S. Central Time Tuesday through Saturday and from 7 p.m. Wednesday to 2 a.m. Thursday.
Federal law requires that men who are at least 18 years old, but not yet 26 years old, must be registered with Selective Service. This includes all male non-citizens within these age limits who permanently reside in the U.S. Men with "green cards" must register. Men living in the U.S. without INS documentation (undocumented aliens) must also register. Men cannot register after reaching age 26.

So, looking at the age group, does that count me out.
I can't figure out on this new set up how to send or receive personal message, so I'll post it here.

have you packed yet ?

Hey Rog

You don't have to break out in a sweat. You are disqualified on the age limit thingee. It is 18 up to your 26th birthday ;-)

Nope packing when I get home. I leave the office in 5 MINUTES.

Nah we will be listening to CD's of Joan Baez, Joan Collins and the new Moody Blues "English Sunset". Saw them in concert two years ago and they were as great as always.

Illegal aliens are required to register.. Now that does sound like the US government.
They aren't supposed to be here, but the SSS expects them to register.... Is there
an "undocumented" box on the form?
