Smile Received a job offer

Hey guys! I have been creeping the forums for a couple of months now, but I have just finally had a reason to join!

I am currently living in England, my home. My goal in life since I was 11 was to move to Aspen, CO, so I have been doing my best to try and get the oppurtunity to finally get there.

I recently received a job offer to work there and they would like an informal chat, the issue is I don't know how I go about a visa, if you have a job offer can I take care of securing a visa? It is all so very cloudy.

I would really appreciate anyones input on this! Thanks in advanced!

It is up to the company who has offered you the job to sort out the visa.
Ask them which visa they will be applying for and we can then answer any questions you might have about it

Ditto.

If you are going to get a work visa, the sponsoring company will submit a petition on your behalf and it will proceed from there. If the company has hired foreign workers before, they will have contact with an immigration attorney who handles all this.

Go ahead and have the informal chat with them. One of your questions to them should be "which specific visa do you have in mind for me?" If they don't know, then it's probably not going to lead to anything.

The company hires a large amount of south africans, so that must mean they are in contact with an immigration attorney right? it was this that made them a good choice for me, the fact that they hire alot of people from south africa.

Probably h2b.

Trying to remember the name of the town where the worker ants live.

If it isn't a company transfer, the options are slim.

If the work is seasonal, it could be a H2B...but if it's full time, there might just not be a visa for it.
