I'm getting vertigo just sitting at the computer.

Still, congratulations. I have a lunatic cousin who likes this sort of thing - she pretends to crash helicopters to see how good they are at getting out of it.

Good info, TimFountain. It's always been a dream of mine that will probably never be realized. A significant number of people at my work commute by Cessna. I've always wondered about the costs of being more than just a passenger. Seems like the pools I see are undercharging based on your info - I imagine the owners are just trying to offset the costs a little. Kind of like having a renter pay part of the mortgage.

Make sure you don't do it Arizona or you'll land up wearing pink silk ladies' dainties, sleeping in a tent in the desert and sporting old zebra prison garb for working on a genooo-whine chain gang!

Things I wanted in the UK

Fantastic wife
Big House
Nice weather
Proper personalised number plate
Porsche 911

-The first of the above is amazing
-I now own a big 5 bed victorian near nashville downtown on nearly an acre
-shorts and flip flops from End of march to october
-'My' number plate in the UK is the most expensive ever auctioned at 250,000 quid. I got exactly what I wanted here for $100!
-Over here 911's depreciate like stink so I picked up one for what I sold my boxster for in the UK

Like Gruff - I seem to spend a lot of time in home depot etc and have really got into doing stuff on the house with various power tools which tends to be rewarding/fun/frustrating in equal amounts

Yes, Sheriff Joe will do anything for a bit of publicity.
