Re-Mortgaging
Hi all,
Apologies if this is in the wrong section, but we are looking at remortgaging our villa in Florida to provide some of the funds for an E-2 business purchase.
I would welcome any advice from people that have already done this, especially any recommendations for USA companies that will entertain the re-mortgage application.
For clarity, we have no mortgage on our villa, it is worth approx $215k, and we are looking for around $100k mortgage.

I don't have recommendations, but you are looking for a "cash out refinance". A lost any lender would do that.

Or a HELOC (home equity line of credit) or a Home Equity loan. There are advantages, disadvantages and different risks associated with all three.
