Quick Question- Need Contact Info (UK Visa)
A friend is applying for UK Tourist Visa, and has sent the application to British Consulate General, NY!
Just wanting to know if there is some sort of contact information available? Either phone or email? Googling brings up a no but as usual it just goes to an automatic option menu!!

If your friend is a US citizen with a US passport , they do not need a visa if just coming as a tourist. British Border Control will likely want to see a return ticket and will ask the usual questions - where staying , why coming etc.
I think US citizens get a 60 or 90 day approval to stay. i'm sure a more definitive answer will be forthcoming from other BE forum members.

Yup. Unless the person is not eligible for visa free travel, such as certain convictions.
