I do not know if you are being serious but I will accept that you are. It took me 33 months to get mine. Basically it is like your Driving Licence except that it has a wide magnetic strip on the back which contains all your info. Yes take your passport with you as they stamp and sign that and your GC follows in about 4 weeks or at least that is how mine went recently. :)
