Questions on filling out K! visa forms
Hi,
I am in the process of filling out the I-129F and the G-325, and at the same time I am doing the DS-156 w/supplement and the DS-230. The trouble I'm having is that Form I-129F says to write N/A on items that do not apply but other people say use None. For questions such as, other names used, name of prior husband/wives, date of marriage, children on the I-129F form what do I use? Both of us have never been married. Also, the G-325 asks similar questions, but in this case it says use NONE for Husband/Wife, Employment, etc? But what about other names used and file number? The DS-230 agains says write N/A if not applicable but I remember reading where people say that if you write N/A instead of none, it comes back to you. I know I'm probably being anal, but we really don't want this to come back to use requesting further info. Thank you in advance for your help. We appreciate it :) |

That is what we did, and yes it is badly organized and not consistent, but go with that. So: sometimes N/A, sometimes None. I really can not imagine they will get through all that hassle sending you the stuff back, because they want to see None instead of N/A. -- steg |

If any item does not apply, please write "NONE". N/A is not an appropriate response." so I highly recommend you write NONE instead of N/A or else you might get a little letter like i did to fix all the N/A's I had originally put on my I-129F..I always used "NONE" on every other form I've had to use since they sent me that letter..and its worked for me so far...we just had our Visa approved in Vancouver a few days ago :) I hope this helped and good luck :) |
