Question on I-134
 

Hi There,

I have a question on Item 11 of the form I-134 (Affidavit of Support) for my fiancee: Do I check the box "That I [x] intend [ ] do not intend, to make specific contributions to the support of the person named in item 3"? The form states that "Complete this block only if the person named in item 3 will be in the U.S. temporarily", this seems not applicable to the K-1 fiancee since she is going to stay in the U.S. permantly (not temporarily). Thanks for your help.

The I-134 is also used for tourist visas in some countries.

Mark it yes you will contribute to the support of this person. You are going to, aren't you?

You're right. This is not applicable to k-1 fiancee since she is going to stay in the
US permanently.
