I've been wondering about the making of the green card after the approval of the I-751 WITHOUT an interview.

How do they make the card if you are approved without an interview and you have not been requested to go into the local INS office to make out a new I-90?

Does anyone know?

You have to go to the INS with the letter of approval, 2 pictures and the Conditional
Green Card and they will take your fingerprint and fill I-89, no fee.

Thought it had to be that way. But I don't recall anyone mentioning it and just posting that they can't understand why their I-751's were approved and they didn't receive their green cards in the mail yet. ;-)

Yup I do Andy

But the point of the post was that people are posting that they had their conditions removed without an interview and they are moaning and groaning about when can they expect their green cards in the mail. Nowhere in their posts do they mention that they had to go to the local INS office to complete the same signature/print card that they had to do when they interviewed for conditional residency.

Hence, I was wondering if the procedure had changed since the beginning of the newsgroup and that some how or another the original forms used for the first green card are kept on file for future use. But that didn't make sense in my mind. Therefore, the question.
