Default PS3 and XBOX 360 from UK to usa

Hi all
Does anyone know if will be able to bring my UK PS3 and Xbox 360 to the USA?
Would I have to buy another power supply?
Thx

The PS3 is dual voltage. The 360 will require a new PSU.

Yes they will play fine. We bought ours with us.
Note too that if you buy USA games for your Xbox360 most of them will work fine too. However a few are region locked and wont play. There is a paintball game that wont work for example.
The PS3 is region free to new games will work on that too.

Buy your xbox psu from microsoft direct. It's the cheapest option and you will get the correct one. There are loads on Amazon but it's not always obvious which one you need (there are 3 or 4 versions available).

My UK PS3 non-slim is single-voltage only, at least according to the plate. A bit surprising for a modern switch-mode power supply, but I haven't tried feeding it 115V... It's happy behind a transformer though.

I've only really used as a Netflix and Euro-Bluray-player, and it works fine for both. I couldn't convince it to produce video timings that my TV would accept when playing PAL DVDs though, and had some issues with my UK-based PlayStation Network account, with some applications not being available.

I seem to recall Microsoft said they were going to start allowing people to move their Xbox live accounts from country to country, it's a real pain if you can't because say you've paid for it, they block content based on your IP. There were some limits on it though, they said only from certain countries to certain other countries.

One problem is DLC content can and does seem to be region specific for MS....that and it can be a proper pain to kill off a UK card for a US one if you want to renew things to play online.
