Can I send in the of-230 AND the of-169 to the US embassy in LONDON, UK so we can open a prov. file for a I-130 petition, or do they only accept the OF-230 at this time?

The OF-230 part i is enough to open the provisional file. I see no harm in sending in the OF-169 as well, although without the petition approval it will be hard for you to estimate travel dates.

I don't know about Chennai. I tried with consulate in Delhi, but no luck. First they
didn't like the fax...then I sent original to my fiance, and they didn't like that
Nebraska doesn't put the validity date on the approval notice (i.e. august 7 - dec 7,
2001). Let me know if you have any luck. Also, can u tell me if your notice from NSC
has this validity date on it? says "

It's been over a month now and New Delhi still doesn't have the cable or
original approval.

Does anyone know if the American counslate in Chennai, INDIA accept faxes of approval
notices so they can open a provisional file.
