It's bizarre how some things make it big and some don;t over here - Python is huge, and I was listening to Tim Curry on the radio the other day talking about the Rocky Horror Picture Show, yet someone funny like Jack Dee or Eddie Izzard - no chance ! - Although I did used to watch BBC America and laugh myself to bits at Graham Norton....

I'm a stay at home Mum/Wife and none of the above apply to me, apart from my house being spotless until the kids come home from school, and after 3 years I am absolutely bored to death. The first year I had no EAD. The next year or so was spent getting our new house decorated, yes I did it all myself with no help from anyone. The last 6 months I have done more or less nothing other than the usual cleaning, washing, ironing, shopping and more shopping. Hubby works from home so at least I have someone to talk to (at) most of the time.
I was talking about at home wives, not at home mothers - I'm a stay at home mum & know how hard it is, you're preaching to the choir!!!

I didn't realise I was preaching. I was at home with my children for almost 10 years and it was hard work but I loved every minute of it.

I now realise that looking after little ones is much less stressful than having a teenager in the house. Only another 6 years and I'll have 2 teenagers, I can't wait.

I'm the same as you. Joined at about the same time with the same amount of posts. Most threads here these days start off OK, then turn into a fest. I can't be bothered with them.

It's a phrase, it means I know what you mean! I love being an at home mum too, but it doesn't make it any less hard work!!! I am not looking forward to raising teenagers, I remember how I was back then, I'm doomed!!!
