ahh, now you've reminded me - the program for pregnant woman is AIM (access for mothers and infants) which then turns into health insurance for the child, and that health insurance is healthy families. AIM only covers you during the pregnancy, and healthy families is only for the children.

They must have changed it again then to eliminate more people. They had told my friend if she was pregnant she'd be covered too. She had four teens at the time and would rather have cut her arm off with a butter knife than have another baby

You can apply for programs online, or at least see if you are eligible. I know a ton of funding has been cut for these programs in our state.
