Laughing cow? I know it's not squeezed but it can't taste all that different.

Good grief. And yet it still tastes like plastic pretending to be cheese? That's quite impressive.

the ones with meat and ham would for sure be against the meat import rules.

id eat primula any day - squeezed into a stalk of celery. but i will NEVER EVER in a gazillion billion years put Velveeta in my mouth.

I hate you. Now I want some.

Primula is what celery was made for, the almost white celery you get in the UK, not the bitter green stuff sold here.

Unfortunately, if you follow the links, you discover that the US importer of Kavli products does not import all Kavli products, and, guess what, they don't import the tubes of cheese. .... In fact the only thing they import are the crisp breads.

That stuff is nasty, too soft to be hard, too hard to be soft, not much taste, and about the texture of a pencil eraser.

Nope, not a Troll. Who would have thought that a simple question about getting something through customs would have sparked this response.

Thanks to everyone for their replies. It seems that if I want to get it through customs I'd have to take a chance. Plus either you love it or hate it, something like Marmite (which I love). Sorry, I didn't want to start a battle here.

I think there was someone with Primula as a username who was a notorious troll here.

Well clearly you are wrong on both counts, let me know your POE and I will happily tip them off :-)

It wasn't directed at you. A joke regarding a poster from a few years back.

I'd love a bit of primula on a cracker now, though. That or a Dairylea triangle. Gahhhhhhhh

Sorry, POE will remain secret I've only been stopped once going through customs - that was in Philadelphia. I KNEW that the passport guy was going to make trouble, miserable old sod. He drew a big A on my customs form and I was directed to the customs officers. They only asked me if I had meat products (no) and then we had a very nice discussion regarding the merits of USA Cadburys (crap) and UK Cadburys. No sweat. However, I don't know if I'm going to risk it.

Sorry! As others pointed out - Primula was a fun troll a while back. Not directed at you.

Great. Now I want some Primula (the cheese product, that it)!!

My fave was the ham one, but I guess it's been well over 20 years since I had some.
