Default Primula Cheese

Has anyone tried bringing back Primula Cheese from UK? I've found the following:

Cheese- Solid cheese (hard or semi-soft, that does not contain meat); butter, butter oil, and cultured milk products such as yogurt and sour cream are not restricted. Feta cheese, Brie, Camembert, cheese in brine, Mozzarella and Buffalo Mozzarella are permissible (USDA Animal Product Manual, Table 3-14-6). Cheese in liquid (such as cottage cheese or ricotta cheese) and cheese that pours like heavy cream are not admissible from countries affected by foot-and-mouth disease (FMD). Cheese containing meat is not admissible depending on the country of origin.

I don't know if I'm reading that correctly, but it seems that it is permitted. However, it seems strange that I can't find it anywhere in the US. Any help, experience much appreciated.

I have never seen it in the US, nor anything remotely like it, though I still look when I'm shopping for cheese. It would get used up so quickly I'm not sure I would bother trying to bring it back.

I haven't seen it on any of the on-line food stores. Just thought since I'm going to Scotland at the end of April that I could stock up along with all the legal goodies.

Edit: Just looked...so it is just posh cheese out of a tube....well that's something different and a bit of a contradiction

No idea, but if your smuggling it in I'll take a tube of the prawn flavor if they still do it and while your at at a tube of prawn cocktail pringles.

Yup, just posh cheese in a tube. The prawn one is the best. Brings back memories of when I was a wee bairn many moons ago.

Well it's a wet cheese, so it won't be allowed, if you got caught.

That's what I was afraid of. Must have been a reason why you can't get it here. I'll just have to fill up the suitcase with something else. Thanks.

Well they've got the minging orange stuff, so it's not an alien concept here...but cheese is a odd one around here.

Firstly why?

Secondly, I vaguely think Ikea might sell something similar in the little food mart after the cashier.

Thirdly, Costplus world market?

Fourthly, Kraft cheese in a can?

Fifthly, no seriously why?
