There is one place that is still $2.45 but that will probably not be the case by this afternoon.

Down here in lower NYS, we never got that low this year. Has been $2.65 ot $2.69 and now is $2.75 to $2.79.

If we went to NJ we would be paying between 40 to 50 cents a gallon less.

$3:05 in the East Bay; $2:50 in Phoenix. Trouble is, when I'm down in Phoenix I have a 10 minute commute but in the bay area, a 45 minute commute, so I don't get to take advantage of the great prices in Phoenix!

what, you mean you don't try and smuggle a small barrel of petrol in your hand luggage on the way back then?

Bad news: I'm hearing from people returning from lunch that fuel has jumped from $2.41 this AM to $2.69 just now.

Good news: I filled up this morning.

Yesterday I drove past the gas station to 7-11 on the other corner of the block to buy grandson a Slurpee. Left 7-11 to get gas and in the time it took to buy the bl**dy Slurpee it had gone up 11 cents.

I don't mind gas going up because normally (and it's true this week) it means the exchange rate is up....which I like cos I'm getting ready to transfer money either tomorrow or early next week.
