I'm cheering on the fall in heating oil prices too. Today it went above freezing for the first time since... um...

Is that a nationwide thing? They just did that in Maine too. Couldn't they have waited till April when it goes above freezing?

Heating oil is the only thing keeping us afloat, only $181 last month instead of the $350-450 it was last year during the same time.

Petrol, there's a place in a nearby town at $1.59 but most are at $1.65

Weird, driving home yesterday from my Mom's-price was 1.63-1.69 all along the route, except for one town- 1.47!!

DH and I went out for a few hours Saturday to mingle with the locals....Wally World for ice scrapers and sewing supplies, Sonic for the brown bag special, and we filled the truck up for $1.35 a gal! Do we know how to live or what?
