However, I just filled up at BP. Pump price was $2.58 but using my BP rewards, got 20 gallons for $2.18. That's 11c per gallon.

BP Driver Rewards is ending on September 30th :(

They are switching to a flat 10c per gallon instant rebate at the pump plus 3% rebate on groceries.

I'll be sure to use my points before Sep 30th.

Well that's bloody typical, prices went up overnight to $2.399.

The cities I work in and the town I shop in both have gas for $2.14 yet my town seems to be sticking at $2.28-$2.30.

20c increase since Thanksgiving in most places. Oddly, the local Cumbies is still @2.45G with their Cumbies card. One a town over is $2.60G

Prices have been drifting down all year, and are heading back into seriously low territory - I filled my truck today at $1.959, including the 10c for using a BP card. If the trend continues, the sticker price will be below $2 on premium brands of gas in one-two weeks. And to think, five weeks ago a war with Iran was on the cards!

I was thinking along the same lines last week as prices eventually reached $2.19 and then we got walloped with a 20c rise on Monday morning.

EDIT: It has dropped all this week, to $2-31 in a few places. Apparently, according to a few mates, it's been falling like a stone in the UK recently.

A FB friend posted an article yesterday saying that prices are expected to drop below $2.00 next week - in Texas anyway!

I filled up on Tuesday morning and it was $1.98 per gallon on highway 49 in MS. On Wednesday night driving the same highway, the service station was advertising $1.91 per gallon.
