Wow ... either you get lousy gas mileage or you travel a lot. I see you're only one state away from me. We close to the Alabama border here in Hattiesburg.

We are in south al not to far from Florida. We travel quite a lot we spent August on the road did best part of five thousand miles.

Was $2.17G in Bangor, Maine on our way back on Boxing Day.

It's $2.65G this morning at home, which is 2c cheaper than Sunday.

Running about $1.30-$1.36 CAD per liter in Vancouver.

($3.64 to 3.76 USD$ per gallon, CAD has dropped in value so price looks lower in USD$)

I had a little play.
From what I can see the cost of petrol where I am in NZ per US gallon works out to USD $5.18

Returning home after a weekend away I see we've now joined some of you Deep Southers and gone under $2 a gallon.

Wouldn't call SC deep South

but seen it in the 1.70s here.

Ours would be US $2.94 on yesterdays prices which wasn't as bad as I thought.

Of course, that's pretty much bottom of our cycle and will probably be a third more tomorrow
