Price of gas update...

Re: Price of gas update...
This current increase is expected to go over the $3.00 mark fairly soon here in Ga, the highest [prices since 2014.
The smart money says it'll drop back to around $2.50 toward the end of the year.

$2.639, which is two cents less than it was earlier in the week, maybe the local stations are a bit more competitive now that a couple of million snowbirds have fled the State for the summer. Driving is tolerable, nearly pleasant, again for the next 5 months...

Managed to fill up in Kenosha, WI for about $2.82 on Saturday. Hovering in the high $2.90s here though, after a brief day or two above $3.00.

$2.50 would be lovely. Garage down the road from work seems to have evened out at $2.77 for now though, which is better than $3+

For some reason it's gone down again here. I filled up at $2.65 last Friday at a garage near work I knew was usually cheaper than ones closer to home (not expecting it to be that much cheaper though, the rest of them where between $2.95 and $3.05) and today it was in the $2.50s. I expect a spike in prices on the run up to Memorial Day though.

Same here, but it happened today not yesterday. There are some advantages to living on this side of the bridge.

Well, shit. Shot up to $3.09 at the garage that was previously $2.60-ish yesterday. Still have half a tank left though, so we'll see where it goes from here.
