Well that has a totally different connection. Wet systems are unusual and I have a rather large one.

Damn the is cold...... I'd be scared if it ever got that cold here, not sure our heaters could even keep the place warm considering they are struggling to keep it at 18C inside and it's only 27F.....

I don't mind the cold itself, just when they don't put in proper sized heating devices it just ends up sucking electricity nearly non-stop.

Your ire would be better directed towards the poor insulation than the method of heating as I suspect that it is primarily the poor insulation is causing your problem.

We still haven't had to put the heating on yet, which is rather handy....considering it had been on for a month already last year with some serious snow.

Likewise here (except we hadn't had snow last year by this time). I see nothing in the forecast that is going to warrant the use of our heat anytime soon either.

Could be. I doubt they went all out with insulation, they do tend to go the cheapest route possible when building apartments. Good insulation isn't going to be high on the list for a developer for rentals. Bad ventilation as well, have to virtually run the bathroom fan and kitchen fan running all day to keep moisture from building up too bad on the windows and around the door.

It's a bit colder this year so far, but as soon as a storm comes in, it warms up, it's all the clear skies keeping us cold.

You should look into getting a dehumidifier - it costs about as much to run as a 100w light bulb. We run ours in the bathroom for a couple of hours at night (it has an integral timer), and leave it in on the kitchen counter (so it can drain into the sink) when we are out - the fan blows dry air across the living room and towards the stairs. It means we use the AC less in the summer, and personally we find it better in the winter too, avoiding a clammy feeling which would be likely as we keep our house fairly cool, especially overnight.

Seems to be between $2.05- $2.15 for most places, except one bulk store who was at $1.97 nearby.

The best BP prices are between $1.939 and $1.959, others are as much as $1.999. The nearby town that was undercutting local stations by 10c-15c, is now only matching local prices, though I suspect it is the local stations that have dropped their prices rather than the stations in the next town that are higher than expected (based on benchmark gas prices in SC).

Sub $2 seems to be the norm round these parts at the moment. My local 7/11 is currently $1.869 and has been under $2 for a good while now.
Can't see it going up in the near future with the current OPEC policies standing strong.
