I saw that the screws are being tightened on Iran again, with pressure on countries to discontinue buying Iranian oil. This will undoubtedly spook the oil markets. We'll be lucky if gas doesn't go up another 50c/gal before the end of May.

It climbed up to $2.89G last week, but I noticed this morning that it came down to $2.79G.

Was $2.79 or $2.74 where I was in Dallas this week.

Back home now and prices went down a bit, $6.15/gal.

Cumbies nearby is still $2.79G with their discount card, but the petrol station on the corner has gone up to $3.03 G.

The sticker price was $2.579 this evening, but I only paid $2.18 using our BP card discount. …. Not $2.18 per gallon, $2.18 for 20 gallons.

Price has been stable for a while but has dropped 10c in the last week. $2.34 this morning.

We experienced that last week. It went from $2.57 a gallon skidding to a stop at $2.31 last Wednesday.

Ours dropped quite sharply a couple of weeks ago from over $2.50 to around $2.35 - $2.40 that we have been paying for the past couple of weeks. If you have just experienced a drop hopefully there will be a further drop for us too.

gas here has dropped 30-40 cents a liter from reaching record highs a few weeks ago.

1.35-1.45 per liter price range now.
