Yours is more expensive as it has to have all the beach cleaned out of it before it can be sent to the gas station.

The cheapest place has stayed at $3.25G for quite a while now.
Other places have gone down a few pennies or gone up a bit and ranges from $3.45-3.55G with one other place at $3.29 for cash.

very true. And I found 3.93 today ( I'll let you know if I see starfish, coral or seaweed coming from the exhaust). Still that's a long way from 3.00

Just heard something on the radio about gas prices dropping long term as the US ramps up production of its own oil - apparently better technology is now making it cost effective to extract oil from more places. Also better technology is increasing the quality and cost effectiveness of alternative forms of energy. Add in the fact that Canada is producing more oil and will continue to be the #1 oil supplier to the US, and it looks like the US dependence on foreign oil is dropping steadily and prices will follow.
