Preperation for AOS interview?...
 

Howdy,

We have just been notified of our appointment date for our AOS interview! Yeah!

(FYI: From our filing date after our legal wedding, that would be about 11 months.
This is the main Los Angeles office).

So....

What do we need?.... Any specific reccomendations other than what is in the general
faq's? Anything specific to the Los Angeles INS office?....

Just looking to see if there is anything that the Los Angeles office is looking for
at AOS interviews....

Perhaps it is because you are asking a marriage based question on the wrong immigration group. Try alt.visa.us.marriage-based.

Also why not go by the checklist that the LA INS office sent you outlining the types of documentation you are required to bring with you, such as:

1. Updated I-864 and supporting documents.
2. Tax transcripts provided by the IRS for the past three years
3. Letters from employers stating who is beneficiary of your various health, dental, life, retirement insurances/plans
4. Utility bills, rental agreements, deeds, etc. held jointly
5. Originals of all copies of documents previously submitted
6. Photo ID for you both
7. Passport for foreign spouse
8. Photographs and cards and letters showing you two at weddings, holidays, vacations, etc.
9. Charge cards in both your names
10. Fingerprint receipt

and on and on and on
