I know he is a male but a lot of my friends are now saying "we are pregnant" and I thought he could have been one of those new enlightened male species (though personally I do think saying 'we' is a bit weird!)

I would never say "we" when my wife would have been pregnant. And if she is I would have to watch her more closely since I've had the snip. :D
