Pray the snow stops!!!!!!!
After being sent home from Heathrow this morning after our Boston flight was cancelled - it look's like the storm is going strong until tomorrow at least..... we will attempt to fly again and only have a few days to sort a LOT of stuff out so tomorrow PLEASE wish us luck and blow hot air in a north easterly direction so we have a chance at least of making it to Boston!!!!!

Hello Whatever, well we're 40 minutes south of Boston and since Friday we have has at least 16 inches, and it's still coming. Looks like another 7 tomorrow and it's bloody windy 40mph gusts. I have heard however that by Monday it will have stopped.

My husband was stuck at JFK overnight in December a few years ago due to weather much like you describe. As well as being stuck at an airport in transit, the airline also "lost" his luggage. It didn't stop here untill Saturday night! -- Fortunately my relatives got here from NYC after what took 4 hours instead of 1 on the snowed over highway!
I lost power Friday night so I missed the chat too! :( |
