police uniforms in pennsylvania
 
Can any one tell me what the different colour uniforms the police wear here in PA signify as some of our police wear black, some light brown some wear blue I would like to know the significance when I am being pulled over for speeding :D

probably different jurisdictions, I live in a small college town in Iowa and they have like 5 different police departments all wearing different uniforms.


State Police

Sheriff's department

city police ( and every square mile seems to be a city around here)

and campus police (they pull you over outside the university grounds too)
