We're not camping either Britguy. Not sure if this is a bad idea or not, none of our group that are going fancy trying to get to sleep in a field surrounded by thousands of other people who undoubtably won't give a toss about "keeping it down". We don't live far from Manchester so will either drive there each day or stay at a friend's aunt's house who apparently lives 1/2 mile from the site. I expect us only to be there Fri-Sun anyway, Thursday's line up so far is looking exceptionally shite.
I can't think of a reason to take dry ice with me!

Just put the feelers out for a hook up for free Police tickets in LA as the venue is a customer.................... fingers crossed, stay tuned.

Couldn't get near the Ticketmaster site at 10am Saturday without a 15 minute wait. Tried again half an hour later and got some $50 tickets for Dallas.......behind the stage!
It won't bother my sister in law who's coming with us, as she fancies Sting rotten and will be no doubt quite happy to stare at his arse for a couple of hours. I shall content myself with drinking $10 beers and soaking up the atmosphere.

Success! Two tickets for The Police reunion tour in Miami!
I was glued to the Ticketmaster.com website waiting for 10am to come along.
The only annoying thing is that most of my co-workers have no idea who they are

I was able to get pre-sale tickets through BestBuy of all places. Because I have a BestBuy loyalty card (not credit card) I was emailed a special number and able to buy from Ticketmaster the week before they went on sale. Don't know if that same service will be available for future events but thought I'd share it just in case.

Maybe see you over there in a couple of hours to exchange some taunts about today's game. If you win and I'm not there, I'm not sulking. My daughter has her first ever scoccer game this morning so we have to leave for that.
Saw Snow Patrol last night which was an excellent show. Got me right in the mood for The Police concert - see how I brought the thread back OT there?
