Default The Police - reunion tour

Success! Two tickets for The Police reunion tour in Miami!

I was glued to the Ticketmaster.com website waiting for 10am to come along.

The only annoying thing is that most of my co-workers have no idea who they are

Roxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnnnn nnnnne!

The countdown to July 10th begins

Brilliant! Well done! The Police were the first band I ever saw....Wembley Arena 1979. To this day, they were the loudest band I've ever heard....and I've seen a lot of bands!

Decent tickets were $250 - $400 each in LA. I suppose $50 nosebleeds would be good for the atmosphere at worst. Tickets sold out in minutes and were being touted on E-Bay the same day.

I saw Sting on his own last year and he did all Police songs. He was great. Just waiting for them to announce Vegas and I will be there.
Did you hear Genesis are reuniting too? They will be announcing US tour dates today.

Crowded House is also going to have a reunion tour -- I'm pretty excited about that! Maybe they'll have a gig near DC (unlike The Police, thanks guys)...

the police are playing at bonaroo just outside nashville

$180 for a 4 day ticket to the whole festival

http://www.bonnaroo.com/2007-lineup

relative bargain if you like being a smelly hippy and camping for 4 days

I went with a girlfriend to the Beale Street music festival in Memphis, TN last May. It was excellent - four stages - with all kinds of music. Sadly I had to leave on the Sunday and missed James Brown (I do believe he still hasn't been buried yet!) but did get a backstage pass to meet Bo Diddley and saw Little Richard, BB King and the Gin Blossoms amongst many others.

It was really cheap for a two-day pass too!

My son is going to the Bamboozle Festival in New Jersey (Giants Stadium) in May and a couple of teenage girls (my friend's daughter and her friend) are coming over from England for the festival and staying at our house. This is the line up:

and I'm off to see Gwen Stefani at the PNC Arts Centre in NJ in May.

I shall be attending the Bonnaroo fest, which I'm looking forward to. I'll be checking ticketmaster for the Genesis dates as I would really like to go see them.

you'll have a great time, my wife went for the inaugural one with a bunch of her girlfriends and had a great time

lots of drugs there so whatever floats your boat you should be able to find

apparently a good tip is to take dry ice with you
