Default please help, I am very confused

I moved here to the US on September, 3rd. My fiancé and I are getting married next Friday. I didn't get the work authorization at the POE, but since then I found all kinds of sources saying that I was still allowed to work ( with I-94) and some others saying that i needed INS approval.
But since I'm getting married next Friday, I thought that when I bring my AOS application to the office in Charlotte I would get a temporary work authorization until I get my 1 year EAD. But yesterday I read on the INS site that in Charlotte, we have to mail our applications!! So. is there any way to get a temporary EAD? can I just go bring them my application? I need to get a job and I can't believe I will have to wait 3 more months!!!! Can somedy help me please and inform me and also tell me what's up with the fingerprints, (do they just give me an appointment for fingerprints after I apply for AOS or do I need to take care of this myself?)
I know this is a long post but I really need help, is there a 800 INS # where I can talk to a REAL LIVING INS PERSON not one of those f@#$% automated recorded messages.
Thank you for reading me guys

If you dial that 1-800-375-5283 numner, figure it out, after
a few puzzles you will end up with a live person. Not saying
that the information you get is correct, I tried it one time
with a real question, called three times, got three
different persons and three different answers. I went for
the one that was of more advantage for us, and it worked

I do not understand why you didn't get your EAD yet, they
are most keen to give you one, so you are not a "burden to
society". I did not get that at the POE, most of the time
they don't give you thate there anymore. Go to your local
INS office. But after you are married I am sure you will get
one. Skip the mail go over there, they will probably set a
next date where you are photographed, fingerprinted and you
will get that card.
I would take your paperwork over to INS after youw wedding
(you need to do that anyway) and try to get you scheduled.
In my case (slow Arizona) it took about two weeks. And it is
valid for 12 months, in my case. If you already have a job:
I was late once with the renewal of my EAD, INS told me that
was totally up to the employer. And my employer did not
care, as long as I was working on it to get it straightened
out. So I did.

Notification for fingerprinting for other purposes arrive in
your mailbox is my experience. Had to do it twice, because I
am waiting for the Greencard for over two years now, I
believe it was because I requested for Advance Parole twice.
Fingerprinting is free (in this state), and that is a good thing.
