There's a social security office in the London Embassy. Call them up and ask them if you can't take the passport there to get the card issued. Also, ask them what else they need -- e.g. birth certificate etc. Don't forget to flash your nice blue passport at those johnny foreigners waiting for their visas as you take the VIP line.

The link I posted for you states that you should take the application with the requested documents to the Embassy where they will take a copy of your passport for the application. No sending away required.

Congratulations!!! It wasn't that painful really was it and now they can never deport you.....
Now just remember when you go through the US Cit line PICK UP the luggage before you go for your beer and wait for eveyone to join you...
It also may be worthwhile looking at Expeditious Naturalization for your kids oh yes they could have the coverted blue passport as well and avoid the "alien" queue but that's more paperwork so I would best leave that for a while until you've recovered from this one....

His children are not eligible for US citizenship. Phychlone must reside in the US for a minimum of 5 years before his children can become USCs.
