pittsburgh anyone?
 
hi my name is colin and i have been here in the united states for 1 year now, just wondered if there was any expats.... (especially from southern england near bath) living in or around pittsburgh PA. i live in the castle shannon area and would like to meet up with other "brits"

I think Jumping Doris is in PA but I dont know which part. King Greene? Not a take on Greene King is it? From near Bath to PA you must miss it, Bath is booootiful.

lol yes i got my email and user name from the greene king brewery, i just swapped the words around.

and yes bath is really beautiful, i lived in frome about 12 miles SW of bath.

I'm about 2 and a bit hours away up in NE Ohio, but do get down that way for work on and off. Normally south of the city in Clairton

Lucky you can get both here then, although not the full range!

We have friends in Pitt, haven't been there for a while but I liked it when I was there. I think we're supposed to be going there in a month or so for a birthday party.

I've only just seen this.
I'm not far from you....Upper Saint Clair. There are quite a few Brits in and around Pittsburgh but we have never managed to meet up.

Hello! We are close to Pitts, about an hour away in Greensburg. We're newbie's to the States, been here 3 mths. We're from South Somerset and I lived in Bath up in Bear Flat whilst a student.... what great days.... did you ever frequent the Huntsman and it's wonderfully sticky carpets?!!!

MY wife brought me to PA, she is from california, we met online through a mutual friend via pogo games website, i have been here nearly 2 years.

yes still here, just got promoted at work too so i am off the night-shift after a year of 12 to 8am!! and last year i passed my radio ham license. you can read a bit more on my blog, its not too up to date but i have more to go on there.
The reason for not posting for so long was i lost the link then couldn't remember the site!!! Duh lol.
