Hello Teresa

My husband and I used the Pittsburgh office and I'd say you could consider yourself
lucky. What I thought was going to be a brutal process turned out to be pretty
painless. However, being overly prepared has never been a bad thing. We got there
early and only waited for about 10 minutes, they call you up to hand in your
paperwork, then you are taken in back to have your photo taken for EAD card,
Pittsburgh issues your EAD on the same day, you will have to go to the FBI building
for fingerprinting but everything is in walking distance. We even got our actual
interview letter when we filed for the AOS, we filed in Aug and my husband had his
interview in December so the wait isn't too long. Everyone there seems pretty
frienly, as long as you are prepared then you should have no problem. They really
seem to have a low tolerance for people who haven't educated themselves on the whole
process, so don't go in there with all of the wrong papers, be organized, get
educated and stay calm. *smiles* Good luck to you and feel free to email me if you
have any questions.

Thanks so much for your reply. Oh believe me I will have lots of questions, I will see my fiance again at the end of August. He lives in Alberta, Canada. Any how, after that meeting that is when we will send our paper work in. Thanks Amanda.......that is encouraging news about the Pittsburg office. Have a great day.
Cheers,
Teresa

Re: Pittsburg

Yes Pittsburgh is quick.

Once again, I direct you to a NG site that you should definitely bookmark.

http://www.kamya.com/aos/

Go to Pittsburgh and see what others before you have encountered there.

Please look through all the sites on the Mysterious Brown Envelope page. There is a wealth of information.
