Picking Up EAD in NYC
Hi Guys, for those waiting to pick up their EAD card in NY. My experience as follows.
Got inside Federal Plaza after only ten minute wait. Put the appointment letter in the tray for booth 3 on flr 9, waited an hour or so to be called, about 30 minutes after my apt time.
Showed passport to the INS officer. Had finger print taken and then asked to wait for the photo. Had a photo taken and card produced in about another 30 minutes. Given EAD for full year.
Overall very good experience with NYC INS so far...
