Photos for Interview and Medical
Hello,
I'm slowly getting things together for the Interview with Montreal. All I need left is the affidavit and my birth certificate... should be on its way this week... the affidavit will be along shortly as well. I have my medical this Thursday. When I booked the medical, she said I need 2 photos, where the package from Montreal says I need 3 photos for the medical. I will be going to MDS for it... How many photos will I need? Unlike the I-129F petition, there was not a lot of strict rules regarding position and size of the picture. Do you think a picture taken at one of those booths in the malls be sufficient? The dimensions in the package say it should be 1.5" x 1.5"... nothing about position or size of the face... Any suggestions?? They should be in color I take it. Thanks, Ian |
Re: Photos for Interview and Medical
I went through Vancouver and I needed 3 passport size photos, so just to be
safe bring 3 because that's what they asked for in your forms. I think the photos taken in the boot should be ok (and if you want, I'm sure you can always find plenty of places at the mall that take passport photos). Good luck. Re: Photos for Interview and Medical
The Photos taken at a Booth in the mall might be rejected. They are
VERY specific in what they want in the pictures. I suggest going to a professional photo centre and having them made to the exact requirements. Re: Photos for Interview and Medical
Hey Razorfin,
The photos I'm referring to are not the ones for the I-129F... I've already had those taken, submitted and approved by VSC about a month ago... The photos in question are the ones that I need for my medical/interview in Canada. They just say that it needs to be 1.5" x 1.5" and on a white background with no head covering... that's all. It doesn't say how big my head should be etc... should the final size of the paper be 1.5" x 1.5" or should my head be that size? What about the upper body... should any of it be there? Confusing now... Re: Photos for Interview and Medical
As far as I understood the photos that Ian asked about are not the ones for
the INS. These are the passport size photos needed for the medical (3 photos) and for the interview (additional 2 photos) that are going to be attached to the nonimmigration visa application (DS-156). The photos you are talking about are photos that are sent to the INS by the us fiancé (and us fiancé doesn't need medical). Hope this clears the missunderstanding. Re: Photos for Interview and Medical
Hello,Ian
I can tell you from my experience....the 3 photos for the med exam were passport photos and the 2 photos for the interview had specific requirements: 15x15mm,white bachground, wear nothing on the head or on your eyes( no glasses) and to show the ears. Hope this will help Good luck! Re: Photos for Interview and Medical
So that would mean they aren't looking for five "identical" photos then? Hmm... no glasses either...
