Phonecard to call UK from US
Hiyas,
I wondered if anyone could advice me of a good company to purchase a phonecard so
that I can ring my boyfriend in the UK (I'm in the US). I've found the following off
yahoo shopping, if anyone has opinions on them:
http://www.worldphonecard.com/cgi-bi...08e4b12271dd16
2204205b2/Catalog/45004730
http://www.paylessdial.com/
Also does anyone know one he could use calling from the UK?
Thankyou!

I use Priceline to call the UK from the US. It costs me about 3 cents a minute. I'm
not sure what the name of the company is that my fiance uses, but I know that it
costs him 3p per minute.

It's 2 pence per minute. It isn't like you have a lot to lose by trying it. You could
always use PC to PC calling if you both have good connecions.

If you both will get Yahoo Messenger which is free you can talk all you want over it
for free. I have used it a lot calling the Philippines and still use it to call my
wife's family there and talk. But both of you must be on line at the same time and
both must have it.

Onetel, same here. I've been using their service for the last 2 years in the UK, and
it has been a great service to use too! When I first started making calls to the
states, I was using BT - it only took 1 month and I had a £260 bill on my hands. So
go with onetel, you dont have to switch to another tel provider to use their service.

You might want to try the CogniCall calling card. It's free and you only pay for what
you use. The rate from US to UK is 6.8 cents, No Monthly or Per Call fees

Re: Phonecard to call UK from US
Best UK to US service i found is www.quip.co.uk I used them for about a year before
coming to the US...and now i'm here i use calling cards from my local Gas station
...much cheaper than so called online calling cards. Especially if you can find one
that is state based ...meaning you dial a local number rather than a 1-800 number I
get 280 minutes calling time on my card for $10. If you have a local Gas station
..usually the smaller ones run by East Indians....they always have calling cards.
