Growl. Made it to the final two for a senior position, fell at the last fence. Still, they spoke highly of me and were very nice about it ,"better fit should be coming up in a couple of months, we want to hear from you again".

With any luck it will come along there. They do like me and I have a good rep there - I've done some stuff for them. I was just beaten by a candidate with a better match in background. I don't despair, they were very encouraging about the future. It's frustrating and annoying, but not as annoying as diverticulitis, for example.
