Pets Travelling to LAX

Does anyone have any up to date information regarding pets arrival from UK to LAX? We are using Petair but they do not seem to hold information regarding airport handling fees, where pet gets collected, etc.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Also, any vet recommendations for Irvine area? As well as pet insurance? So much to think of!!!

Re: Pets Travelling to LAX

When we came across 4yrs back we shipped our cats a few days afterwards. We had to go to a customs site in the LAX area and do the paperwork. Then we had to drive somewhere else to collect the cats. It was all quite messy.

Great vet in Irvine: Quail Hill Animal Hospital. Quail Animal Hospital - Irvine Veterinarian| CA 92603, 92618, 92612, 92614, 92604

We insure our dog with: Healthy Paws. Never had to use it (touch wood) so no idea how good it is.
