Pet Movers!
Can anyone suggest a good reliable company who takes care of all the arrangements to fly dogs internationally?
We are thinking about moving home in a couple of years but need to look into things such as taking our dog with us. Any info would be much appreciated.
Cheers

Hehe....April/May weather here is usually better than an English summer....so I'm lulled into a false sense of summer.

Hi Shepslady..
Actually one of my good friends owns 'Pet taxi' http://www.pettaxi.com/main.html
It's in NY and I see you are in Indiana (so am I incidentally) but I have known the owner Larry for about 14 years (Holy crap!!) and he is not only a great guy but will take serious care of your dog!
He will take care of all the details....
Joanne

I still don't know where you are moving to, did it end up being Wales?

When I look around me at the disarray in my house (which I have already sold) and then read my "To Do" list I think surely it can't be less than 3 weeks.
Sold most of my stuff already (actually, at the prices I was asking, I almost gave it away). Almost at the point where I'll be sitting on boxes and eating pizza.

I'm meeting with a rep from Diamonds' (I think you recommended them?) to look at a few places on my first day there.

me and my partner have just left this area of wales and are now in south australia. we also both studied at the uni of glamorgan, and we know the area pretty well (partner is welsh, i lived there for 7 years). we lived in nelson which is around 10 minutes drive up the dual carriageway (a470) from the uni campus. it was pretty nice, good selection of different housing there (new builds, traditional terraces, 1960's housing etc) and pretty affordable too - prices in pontypridd and treforest have rocketed in the last few years (still cheap in comparison to a lot of areas in uk tho) and caerphilly will always be more expensive due to it being closer to cardiff. if you arent familiar with the area (where are you from originally?) feel free to get in contact thru this site. the area you are looking at is verrrry diverse and there are areas with... 'social issues' that you may wish to be aware of. also traffic can be a bit of a nightmare at peak hours so what seems to be close on a map may actually take longer to commute than somewhere further away...
hope to hear from you soon
