Permanent Green Card - timelines?
I am married to a US Citizen and in May 2001, I finally received a letter telling me I had been approved for permanent residency and that the conditions of my Green card had been removed. When I visietd the INS office in Seattle, I was told that my permanent Green card would take 6-8 months to process.
In may 2002 I went to the INS office again and had my passport stamped for a further 6 months - and was told it is now taking 12-18 months to process these cards. Does anyone have any information as to how long these cards are taking - still not received my card.
Thanks

Mail form G-731 with the Service Center with jurisdiction over the INS office.
