Passport Fees Reduced
Just received this notification from Gov.Uk
News story: Reduction in passport fees for UK citizens overseas 17 March, 2014 at 08:49pm The passport fee for customers applying for a UK passport from overseas will be reduced by £45 for adults and £28.50 for children from 7 April 2014. |

Still a bit more than applying locally plus you have to tack on the courier fees. As a cynic who thought it wouldn't go down at all, it is an step in the right direction.

Good news, plus this: Additionally, you can now apply online for your passport and track your application if you pay by credit card.

I held out as long as I could hoping for the price to come down or a trip home to be feasible but no luck. :thumbdown: |

Bit too late for me, I'm afraid, but something from the government getting cheaper? Surely some civil servant ticked the wrong box on something or other!
