part time residence in Canada
My wife and I live in Hawaii, are US citizens and would like to buy a house in Vancouver Island for part time residence. Can we do this and how long can we be in Canada without needing a visa? When we leave how soon can we return? We would like to buy a vehicle over there and open a bank account. Are all these things possible? Do we need Canadian driver's licenses? Any help would be appreciated.
